Description: Rev. Davie was pastor of the churches on both Great Cranberry and Little Cranberry Islands, His files and library were discovered in the house of the late Rev. Paul Olander at Islesford in 2002. The files were turned over to the Islesford Church and by them to the Islesford Historical Society. These documents record the difficulties that the Church on Great Cranberry was having involving ownershipof pews and the conversion from a Christian meeting house to a Congregational church with open pews. Description: This running light and the attached fabric were salvaged by Mr. Tebbetts who served as the Quartermaster on the Uss Haigler YTB-327 which vessel towed the wreck of the K-14 into Bunker's Cove on July 4, 1944. Mr. Tebbetts has also furnished copies of Photos and testimony as to his role in the salvage operation. (Small wood sample, given by Helen Merrill in August 1996.)

Description: A collection of humorous short stories published in 1962. Rosemary Lawler was a teacher in the Islesford school from about 1942 to 1945. She boarded with Betty and Francis Fernald and they became good friends. Rosemary's father ran the ice business out of Southwest Harbor. Her uncle, Mark Lawler was an engineer working on the Mississippi and living in New Orleans. This copy of his book was a gift to Francis and Elizabeth Fernald.

Description: This book is based on interviews by Marie Locke with her grandmother, Irene Bartlett, and with glass plate photographs by Irene's father Fred Morse of Islesford. The Islesford Historical Society served as a fiscal agent for the project. Irene Bartlett died on June 27, 1998 and a copy of her obituary has been inserted in the book

Description: The book appears to have been given to the Islesford School by the Sea Coast Mission in 1939. It is of interest because it contains numerous autographs of Islesford students from 1939-1949. The autographs often include comments on the weather such as "Agood day", "A slippery day", etc.
Description: Ms Springer was Darlene Dunn of the H.W. Dunn & Co. in Ellsworth. That company has been contracted by the Islesford Historical Society to restore the cemetery on Baker Island in 2009

Description: Autographed "The Property of A.J. Bryant." A.J. was an official of the Town of Cranberry Isles and this book supplied guidance for everything from the running of Town Meetings to the administration of Fish and Game laws.
Description: Rachel Field is a local author who used to live on Sutton's Island. She is also the author of "God's Pocket" and "Calico Bush" which have references to the Cranberry Isles
